Today we had an appointment for Austin's ONE YEAR check-up. He got a good report from his pediatrician, Dr. Daniels. Austin has grown 2.5 inches (31.5 inches long) and gained almost 2 pounds (20-12 lbs). He is a big boy who is long and lean. He is by far a picky eater, loves food and eats like he is a bottomless pit. He is definitely an Anthony! :O) He showed Dr. Daniels how he can clap his hands, say Papa, Mama, Dada, wave and said bye-bye and did his Indian call. It was too FUNNY! Dr. Daniels couldn't really say much because Austin had a lot to say to him. I think the doctor got a kick out of Austin's entertainment. Later he got two shots and his finger pricked...OUCH! Austin did extremely well. However, mommy could have cried her eyes out. I planned to treat him to Bruster's for ice cream (just a few bites), but needless to say he fell asleep on the way home.
