Nana and I took Austin to the beach today. Austin had a great time digging in the sand, eating sand and getting his feet wet. Austin was fearless with the water. He wanted to go as he said over and over...GO, GO, GO! Mom and I made laps walking up and down the beach with Austin. When he got tired of walking he decided he had to crawl up and down the beach some more. He waved to everyone that passed by and pointed to the sky when he heard an airplane go over. We stayed a little over and hour, but when I told him it was time to go bye bye he cried, no he SCREAMED. As we were walking back to my mom's house there was no consoling him as he cried almost all the way there. It was close to nap time so he was definitely tired to say the least! I do believe I am going to have me a little beach bum this summer!
This is where the screaming started as he's trying to get away from me.

I must admit that I am jealous of the fact that you guys can head to the beach for an hour or so each day!!! Having a beach bum for a son isn't too bad. :-)!!!
I am jealous you living that close to the beach, Austin is going to love that this summer... Tell your Mom and Dad I said hello they are such sweet people! I miss seeing them!
