On July 5th, Ty and I discovered while changing Austin's diaper that his boy area on the right side was enlarged and didn't appear normal. We called the pediatrician and she told us to go to the ER immediately. We panic and are scared too death because we didn't know what to expect or what was going to take place once we arrived to the ER. Austin didn't seem to be in any pain or discomfort. ER doctor checked him out informing us that he has a right hydrocele and needed to see a specialist at MUSC. So, over the past few months we have seen all the doctors and now we have his surgery scheduled. We are scheduled on Friday, October 17th, time is unsure- we'll be notified time day before surgery. We didn't want to share this with many people, but we feel and know prayer is powerful and ask that you keep our precious little boy in your prayers. We are told this is a simple outpatient procedure and only takes about 45-60 minutes. I ask that you keep Austin, his surgery and a speedy recovery in your prayers.
