Austin had his first haircut with my dear friend, Mary Ann, who also cuts my hair. I wasn't sure how our first haircut experience would turn out, but it could not have been any better. Austin was fantastic! When we arrived, she played with him for a few minutes to get him comfortable with her. Then she let him hold a red toy which made him happy and occupied him for the first few minutes.
I was stunned how still he was when she started trimming his hair. At first, Austin didn't talk or move his head. I thought he was afraid, but that didn't last long. Once he knew he was ok he started smiling, talking and gave high fives. Overall, he was great! We did trim his bangs, over his ears, and a little in the back. He still has his cute little curls.You know I had to save his hair we trimmed for keepsake.
